Neasemuita poveste a unei petiții online

În data de 26 iunie, la ora 12:38, porneam prima petiție pe twitter din .ro. O petiție adresata @GoogleMaps:

Google Maps still doesn’t provide street maps for Romania – the 7th largest population among the European Union member states – and the requests on Maps Help Forum regarding this matter are still unsolved.

Let’s help Google to put Romania properly on Google Maps.

Dupa opt ore și jumătate de la lansarea petiției – timp în care au fost înregistrate 240 de susțineri – @googlemaps a raspuns:

@sorintudor We are actively looking into data for Romania and will let everyone know when we have news to share

Ca urmare, am adaugat petitiei online urmatoarele cuvinte:

Ieri, după aproape o lună și jumătate de așteptare – și aproape 450 de semnături, @googlemaps a raspuns din nou. Iar veștile sunt dintre cele mai bune:

Despre autor

Uneori, prin ochii mei, internetul se vede altfel. “Contentul” se numeste simplu, “continut”, iar “user generated” capata vagi conotatii pleonastice de vreme ce El, Userul, nu are incotro: trebuie sa-si fie Creator al propriei Vieti. Poate ca, intr-o zi, vom ajunge sa ne cunoastem mai bine.
